About me

Hi, I’m Michelle Schuster, and fashion has been my passion since childhood. Growing up on a beautiful Bio-Bauernhof in Siebenbürgen, Romania, I was immersed in nature and eco-consciousness from a young age. My grandmother, a true style icon, beautifully combined colors and textures, and I spent countless hours exploring her wardrobe, playing with her outfits. It was from her that I first learned the beauty of self-expression through fashion.

Coming from a large family, we couldn’t afford the latest styles, so I took matters into my own hands. At just 12 years old, I learned to use the sewing machine and began altering my clothes, transforming simple pieces into something special. Over the years, my passion for craftsmanship grew, and after training with renowned designers in Vienna and Spain, I graduated with top honors from the Dressmaking Master School of Haute Couture, earning my title as a Master. I founded Michelle Schuster Couture to share this same love for bespoke, high-quality fashion with others.

My designs blend modernity and tradition. I work with unique, handwoven fabrics from Romania, which I dye naturally with plants and flowers. Architecture deeply influences my work, and I’m particularly drawn to corsetry and evening wear—creating pieces that enhance and celebrate the female form. Through my work, I strive to make every woman feel powerful, beautiful, and confident in her own skin.
